Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully. They govern your use of our website, the purchase of medicines, and the dispensing of prescriptions through Chester Pharmacy.

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and Chester Pharmacy (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing our website, creating an account, or placing an order, you confirm that you accept these Terms in full. If you do not agree, you should not use our services.

1. Eligibility & Accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years of age to place an order.
  • You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information for your account, delivery, and any prescriptions you submit.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login and for all activity carried out under it.

2. Prescription-Only Medications (POM)

For any product classified as a Prescription-Only Medication (POM), the upload of a valid, authentic, and legible prescription issued by a registered medical practitioner is an absolute requirement before any medicine is dispensed. Please note:

  • Our licensed pharmacists will review every uploaded prescription for authenticity and suitability prior to dispensing.
  • We reserve the right to verify a prescription with the issuing prescriber, to request additional information, or to refuse or cancel any order where a prescription is missing, expired, altered, forged, or cannot be validated.
  • Submitting a fraudulent or falsified prescription is unlawful and will result in the order being rejected and may be reported to the appropriate authorities.
  • Over-the-counter (OTC) products may be purchased without a prescription but must still be used strictly in line with their labelling.

3. Medical Disclaimer & Liability

Information provided on this website — including product descriptions, health articles, and general guidance — is for informational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It is not a substitute for consultation with a qualified physician or pharmacist.

  • Always read the product label and patient information leaflet, and consult a healthcare professional before starting any medication.
  • You are responsible for disclosing relevant allergies, existing conditions, and other medications to avoid adverse interactions.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chester Pharmacy shall not be liable for any harm arising from misuse, self-diagnosis, or failure to follow professional medical advice or product instructions.

4. Pricing & Payments

  • All prices are listed and charged in Nigerian Naira (₦) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
  • Payments are processed securely through trusted local payment gateways, Paystack and Flutterwave. Your full card details are handled by these PCI-DSS compliant providers and are never stored on our servers.
  • An order is only confirmed once payment has been successfully authorised and any required prescription has been approved.
  • We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and to decline or cancel orders affected by such errors, refunding any amount already charged.
Public Health

5. No-Returns Policy on Pharmaceutical Products

To protect public health and safety, and in line with pharmaceutical regulations, dispensed medicines and pharmaceutical products cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded once they have left our premises. The integrity, storage conditions, and safety of a medicine cannot be guaranteed once it is out of our custody.

  • This no-returns policy applies to all medicines, whether prescription-only or over-the-counter.
  • The only exceptions are where a product is damaged in transit, expired on arrival, or incorrectly dispensed by us. In such cases, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with supporting evidence for a replacement or refund.
  • Please inspect your order on delivery and report any issue promptly at support@chesterpharmacy.com.

6. Delivery

We aim to deliver every order safely and on time using temperature-appropriate packaging where required. Delivery timelines are estimates and may be affected by location, stock availability, prescription verification, or factors beyond our control. You are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address and ensuring someone is available to receive the order.

7. Acceptable Use

  • Do not use the website for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users’ data.
  • Do not resell medicines obtained through Chester Pharmacy without the appropriate licences.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. The “Last updated” date above indicates the most recent revision. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
